Hi! I've been an actress, singer, and songwriter all my life. I've starred in
numerous theatrical productions, most notably, "Hair" and "The Me Nobody Knows"
on Broadway, and "The Rocky Horror Show" in Los Angeles. I have recorded for
RCA, CBS, and Scepter Records and am best known for the million-seller, "Don’t
Say You Don’t Remember". I have performed in clubs and concerts all over the
country, including Reno Sweeney’s in New York, The Palmer House in Chicago, and
the Coconut Grove, Studio One, and the Troubadour in Los Angeles. I've also
appeared in many television commercials and movies, as well as on talk and
entertainment shows such as "The Tonight Show", "Merv Griffin", "Mike Douglas",
and "American Bandstand". You've probably heard my voice on numerous radio and
television commercials, cartoons, industrials, and CD-ROM games.
As a songwriter, I received a platinum record for writing the song, "Mousercise"
for Disney, which became the theme for the long-running program on the Disney
Channel, a live show at Disneyland, and a video. Several of my songs have
charted in the U.S. and Europe, including "Morning Music" and the theme from the
film "Hopscotch". I've also written the music and lyrics for the stage musicals
"O’Mary’s", "The Glitter Palace", "Have A Jewish Christmas", and "Born A
Unicorn", which were produced in Los Angeles and San Diego.
I am proud to have received numerous awards, including the OBIE for "The Me
Nobody Knows", the L.A. Weekly Best Musical for "The Glitter Palace", the AGLA
Image Award for "The Glitter Palace", The American Song Festival Best Song, and
the Seoul International Song Festival Best Song, where I represented the United
States as performer and composer.
Currently, I teach others in singing, songwriting, voice-over, acting, and
accent reduction in Orange County and San Diego. Writing continues on a
Christmas musical, "Gift of the Magi" plus I plan on recording a CD of new songs
later this year! Stay tuned! |
